Proudly rated Good by Ofsted, Stoke on Trent College is the largest provider of further education in Stoke-on-Trent with over 5000 students each year on full-time and part-time study programmes, apprenticeships, professional qualifications and university-level courses.

Located across two campuses, our teams deliver a range of online and face to face courses both in College and across community venues. We help thousands of local people each year to gain the basic skills needed for work, be it English and maths, employability skills or specific work-related qualifications.

Our Multiply courses include: Managing a Budget, Supermarket Sweep and Healthy Living for individuals. We also offer bespoke numeracy training for employers within Stoke-on-Trent to help upskill your workforce.

Potteries Moneywise

We offer free, confidential advice on a wide range of services and issues within Citizens Advice North Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent. Potteries Moneywise is a financial capability service that looks to empower clients to become more financially stable. Alongside money budgeting, we have a special energy team who helps clients with any energy issues they are having, including billing, disputes and overall energy-saving advice. Alongside advice, we also offer training and support for other organisations and community groups.

Adult & Community learning offers both accredited and non-accredited learning to the residents of Stoke-on-Trent who are over the age of 19 years and have lived in the UK or an EEA country for the last 3 years.  

Courses range from Art, ICT and confidence building to First Aid, Functional Maths and English qualifications up to a Level 2.

ACL have recently gained funding to deliver on the Multiply project.  The Multiply Team will engage with learners, promoting maths and problem solving as the first steps to eliminating the fear of maths.  ACLs Multiply offer includes ‘tips and tricks’ to help with meal planning, mental maths, supporting mental health and upskilling towards gaining a functional skills maths qualification.
